Services work together to care for elderly woman

Ambulance, police and fire services were called to a car accident late last night (Friday).

Two crews from Exmouth were called to the B3180 junction with Hulham Road at 10.18pm to assist the South West Ambulance Service.

On arrival, the firefighters from evon and Somerset Fire Service confirmed it was an accident involving one car and no-one was trapped in the vehicle, however a 73-year-old woman had suffered chest and ankle injuries.

The teams treated the lady until the ambulance arrive.

The police were also on the scene to control and divert traffic.
