On October 19 I lost a traditional style gold wedding ring, which had belonged to my late mother-in-law.
The ring has been in my possession since 1979 and is inscribed with the initials DIJ and WH and their marriage date - October 19, 1921.
I believe I lost the ring either in Tesco or its car park, or in or near the shops in Budleigh Salterton High Street.
October 19 was also the birthday of my late mother and so the ring is of double sentimental value.
If anyone knows of its whereabouts, perhaps they would be kind enough to contact the Journal.
