Seeking Fords
I am the step-grandson of Emma Ford, one of four sisters, who was born in the Exmouth area in 1881.
I am the step-grandson of Emma Ford, one of four sisters, who was born in the Exmouth area in 1881.
Emma married Walter EH Guppy in 1915, possibly in Topsham, and, following his death in 1941, then my grandfather George Parsons in Dorchester in 1948. She herself died in 1963 and is buried in Dorchester.
Neither marriage yielded children and I am therefore hoping to find great-nephews and nieces of her sisters Louise (later Mrs L Anderson of Kingsbridge), Alice (later Mrs A Heard of Exmouth) and Jessie (later Mrs J Jones of Crewe) for the purpose of family research.
Could I ask anyone in the Exmouth area who might have information about Emma and her sisters kindly contact me on 01458 834061 or at either of the address below.
