If you live in a seaside town with lovely sea views, you wouldn't want to spoil those views, would you? Yet what do we find in Exmouth? The view of the estuary coming down Carlton Hill is obscured by the new bowling centre, the view from the dockside bar garden is blocked by the latest apartment building, and the view of Maer Rocks is spoilt by the new lifeboat station.
