Sea Songs for Lift Appeal at Blackmore Theatre

EXMOUTH based buoy band, the Exmouth Shanty Men, are helping to give a lift to the local Blackmore Theatre with a concert this Saturday.

EXMOUTH based 'buoy band' the Exmouth Shanty Men are helping to give a lift to the local Blackmore Theatre with a concert this Saturday.

The Shanty Men will be performing some of their most popular sea songs plus a range of new material.

The group will be raising money towards the Blackmore Theatre's new lift fund, which will allow disabled access to the upstairs theatre.

Founder member of the band, Martin John Nicolls said; "The lads are always delighted to support local causes and we have a very special relationship with this wonderful old theatre, it's the jewel of Exmouth!"

The show commences at 7.30pm on Saturday 15 November.

Tickets are £6 from the Blackmore Box Office or Exmouth Town Hall.
