THE police are appealing for help tracing the next of kin of an Exmouth woman found dead in her Scottish home.
Lothian and Borders Police want to trace the family of Valerie Rockall, aged 80, and her 44-year-old son, who were found dead on Monday at their Dean Path flat in Edinburgh.
It is thought Mrs Rockall's family once lived in Dunsford Close, Exmouth, and the police are keen to hear from anyone who may know of any surviving relatives.
The police said Valerie Rockall would have been known by the surname Brown when she lived in Exmouth.
Detectives are treating the deaths as 'unexplained' at this time and inquiries are ongoing to track their movements since they were last seen on July 6, 2009.
A police spokesman said: "We would like to trace relatives of Mrs Rockall and her son.
