Scarecrow stolen in Budleigh

A SCARECROW has been stolen from East Budleigh. The human-like figurine which belonged to Zena Tarbath, who lives in the village, was dressed as a painter and decorator. Forty-six-year-old Zena had intended on entering it into the East Budleigh Scarecrow

A SCARECROW has been stolen from East Budleigh.

The human-like figurine which belonged to Zena Tarbath, who lives in the village, was dressed as a painter and decorator.

Forty-six-year-old Zena had intended on entering it into the East Budleigh Scarecrow Festival which takes place on Saturday.

She said: "I think it is a pity that people cannot leave things alone."
