SATURDAY, July 19 - Exmouth childminders celebrate their job by playing at the beach

DEVON Child Minding Association helped childminders from Exmouth celebrate National Childminding Week recently on the beach at Exmouth.

DEVON Child Minding Association helped childminders from Exmouth celebrate National Childminding Week recently on the beach at Exmouth.

Devon Child Minding Association (DCMA) is the local membership childminding organisation with over 22 years experience of providing support information advice and training to childminders in Devon, Plymouth and Torbay.

Fourteen children enjoyed various activities using toys borrowed from DCMA's Toy Library.

Jo Summers, who child minds in Exmouth, said, "Thank you for a lovely morning on the beach.

Karen Gardner, from DCMA said, "We were a little worried about the weather, but we were lucky and it was pleasantly warm and sunny.

"The children made the most of all the available resources and it was lovely social occasion too.

"Childminders enjoy taking children on outings and can offer many varied and interesting experiences to the children they look after"
