TELEVISION wildlife presenter Johnny Kingdom will be in Littleham at 2pm on Saturday, July 19 to officially open the summer fete. The event promises to be a fun day for all the family and a host of entertainment has been planned. Proceeds from the fete,
TELEVISION wildlife presenter Johnny Kingdom will be in Littleham at 2pm on Saturday, July 19 to officially open the summer fete.The event promises to be a fun day for all the family and a host of entertainment has been planned. Proceeds from the fete, to be held in the grounds of the Littleham Community Hall, in Westdown Lane, will go to the various groups taking part and other local good causes.Fete organiser and secretary of LARF - Littleham's Associations, Residents and Friends - Sue Saunder said: "We are all very excited about the fete this year, we have a famous named person opening it and we have also received a record number of requests from local groups wishing to take part." Clown OzzyD has been booked to entertain the crowds, there will be dog obedience displays by the four-legged members of Exmouth Dog Training group, while the Accordianettes will add a traditional feel to the event. The fete will also be supported by many organisations and groups within Littleham and Exmouth - including members of the Littleham Family Activity Centre and the church of St Margaret and St Andrew. Throughout the day there will be the chance to try your hand at games of skill, face painting, tuck into cream teas, browse the classic car display, bounce on the inflatable castle, and buy home crafts, home-made cakes and lots more from the stalls.
