To the surprise and joy of all the children, Santa made his great entrance on Friday, December 21, at All Saints Pre-school as the children sang his favourite songs Jingle Bells and When Santa got stuck up the chimney.
The annual Christmas fundraising party has become so successful that even children who had left the Pre-school were eager to return for this Christmas treat and Santa was ready with a present for them all. Santa himself looked very fetching in his brand new suit loaned to him for the occasion by The Blackmore Theatre.
Helena Meineck, the manager told the Journal: “Yet again we have had an absolutely wonderful end of term Christmas party. I would like to thank all the parents for their support especially to those who rolled up their sleeves and helped us behind the scenes. A special thank you also to the wonderful staff who worked really hard to make sure the children had a magical time.”
A special thank you goes to the following people and businesses for their donations for the Christmas Raffle:Marcia Paton for her extraordinary Penguin themed Christmas cake; Moreys, Card Bin, Boots, Crealy, Inc, Bikelands, Wilson’s Paint, Roly’s Fudge Shop, Seymours, Lewis Pharmacy, Cartridge Line, The Chippy (for the jazzy jars) and Rachel Glascock.
