Popular and talented thespian Sandria Stewart, of Budleigh Salterton, is looking forward to taking a major role in Sidmouth Amateur Dramatic Society's quintessentially English Noel Coward comedy Relative Value at the Manor Pavilion Theatre from Tuesday, June 17, to Saturday, June 21.During the first six months of this year, Sandria has shown great versatility. In January, she caused great hilarity as Corporal Eggwhite in SADS' panto Humpty Dumpty and, in March, gave a thoroughly professional performance as pushy social climber Mrs W T Harcourt in Sidmouth Arts Club's smash hit musical Anything Goes.In May, she caused great mirth at the Manor as an eccentric old fogie in a sketch during Another Evening with James Pellow and gave the finale a good start with the opening lines of Noel Coward's "I've been to a marvellous party".Sandria is pleased to be returning to a full-length play and is sure to give a great characterisation in the aristocratic role of Lady Cynthia Hayling and pay tribute to the wit of Noel Coward. On fine days, she has been observed walking, script in hand, from Budleigh Salterton to Otterton.I can't wait to see Sandria in Relative Values, directed by Hilary Hatherleigh. Tickets, price £8, are on sale at the Manor Pavilion box office - telephone (01395) 514413. Performances start at 8pm.Roger Simmonds
