I was greatly saddened to read that Mike Norrish had passed away.

He devoted his time to the Exmouth Boxing club over many years. In the early years, Susie Wills and Peter Nelson did much to encourage youngsters in the noble art.

I have to admit to be taken by surprise by Mike's right hook on many occasions in the 1950s during training. My good wishes to his family on their loss.
