The Christian Aid 10k fun run took place in Woodbury last weekend.
CROWDS of long distance runners took to the streets of Woodbury for an event aimed to raise money for Christian Aid.
The Woodbury 10k took place last Sunday, September 19, in aid of the village’s partnership with a Christain Aid project in Zimbabwe.
Laura McAdam, regional coordinator for the charity, said: “The money raised will add to Woodbury’s target of 5000 for our project providing food security to communities in drought-prone Southern Zimbabwe.”
The next similar event is the three Counties Bike Ride through Devon, Somerset and Dorset on Sunday, October 3.
