A RUCKSACK was stolen from outside the entrance of Exmouth Indoor Market on Sunday afternoon, and police are appealing for information.
The theft happened between 1.15pm and 1.30pm on Sunday afternoon and town centre Police Community Support Officer Karen Capey said: "The victim was standing outside the market talking on his mobile phone.
"He put the rucksack down on the pavement for a moment and somebody just took it."
