A NUMBER of items were stolen from a vehicle in Lympstone.

Police are appealing for information about the incident which happened in Longbrook Lane on Friday, December 17.

A sat nav was one of several items taken.

Anyone with information should call Devon and Cornwall police, quoting crime reference number KE/10/3198, on 08452 777444.

The incident was just one of two crimes which took place in the village in a five week period stretching from December 6 until January 9.

A fine was issued to a 25-year-old man from Wales on New Years Day after a drunk and disorderly-related offence was committed.

The police are also continuing to seek information about a hit-and-run which happened in the village.

A car park in Meeting Lane was damaged on December 17. The vehicle which struck the car in Meeting Lane which made off was possibly silver in colour.

Fourteen logs have been reported to the police force’s communications centre during the five week period.

They included two related to road traffic incidents, two highway disruption, three public safety, four anti-social behaviour and one theft of a dog.
