STORAGE is becoming a problem for the Rotary Club of Exmouth and it is seeking new premises.

The club, which uses a site at Bystock at present, has been looking for a new store for some time and it has now got to a stage that members may have to give homes to a range of different equipment that the club has built up over the years.

This includes the likes of the sleigh that is used to raise money each Christmas and all the signage used for the kite festival.

Chris Stevens, president-elect, said: "We are looking for an area that is about the size of a double garage.

"All that we do is for charities so we do not want to pay commercial rent but we do have limited funds available for payment of a modest rental if required.

"There must be someone in this town that has a garage that they do not really use and we would like to hear from them."

He said, over the years, the group has built up a substantial amount of equipment for its different activities.

It includes stakes, electrical equipment and a range of different signs.

Visits to any site would be infrequent but road access is essential

Anyone who is able to help is asked to contact the group by calling Mr Stevens on (01395) 269186.
