Road was fine, but bus stopped

I do not use a bus, as I cycle to work, but what with the current weather being what it is, I had to use one on Wednesday night, January 6.

The road, to my mind, was fine. The bus turned up and I asked for a single to Rolle College. I was told by the driver he was going only as far as The Parade, where we all got off.

I asked the driver about the people around the corner, outside the kebab shop, waiting for him. He said he was to go out of service and return to the depot.

Great, people wait in the cold for a bus that will not turn up. I took it upon myself to advise them that the 57, which was due, would not be coming and this did not go down well, to say the least.

It would have helped if Stagecoach had tacked up a sign, telling people what was going on, or is that too easy to do.

I really miss using my bike.
