North Devon Link Road affected by overnight road closures for re-surfacing works
MAJOR resurfacing work is taking place on the North Devon Link Road.
This week (Monday 13 - Saturday 18 June) overnight road closures in the area from the River Exe viaduct to Stoodleigh Cross are needed between 7pm and 7am to allow the full width of the three lane section to be treated.
Eastbound traffic will be diverted at Newtown via The Blackcat, Bampton, with westbound traffic leaving the A361 at Bolham Road, Tiverton, and following the diversion in the reverse direction.
The road will be reopened from 7am to 7pm, but speed restrictions and traffic management will be in place to ensure that the newly laid surface can bed-in. Lines and cat eyes will the be replaced using daytime lane restrictions.
