Exmouth RNLI has thanked a local business for its fundraising efforts.
Stuart Line Cruises put a second-hand book stall outside its office after the RNLI shop stopped selling books three years ago.
Since then, the sales have raised more than 2,750 for the life-saving charity, which presented Stuart Line Cruises with a certificate to thank the company for its work.
Exmouth RNLI lifeboat operations manager Kevin Riley said: “It’s a great example of the community supporting each other.
“If people didn’t donate their old books, our crew couldn’t do their job saving lives.”
