Devon and Somerset Riley Club hosted this year’s meeting and a 1936 ERA Remus, which was gifted to Prince Chula on his 21st birthday in 1936, was loaned to the event.

It is estimated that, if the car went to auction, it would fetch in the region of £5million.

More than 90 Riley car enthusiasts from across the country attended the AGM where there were 40 pre-war cars having made the trip down to
Woodbury.

Members of the Riley Register were treated to a ride of the Exmouth Land Train, a trip on the Stuart Line Cruises boat, a buffet lunch at the Devoncourt Resort and a tour
around Exmouth’s lifeboat station.

A spokesperson for the Devon and Somerset Riley Club said a great weekend was had by all.
