RESIDENTS from Ratcliffe House in Burnside, Exmouth, celebrated an enjoyable Saint Georges Day.
Food, drink and a game of bingo was on offer at the event which was attended by Brenda Taylor, County Council chairman and Withycombe councillor.
Ms Taylor, reflecting on the event, said: "It was a good celebration. Quite a lot of residents from the Burnside area came along. It was nice to see people recognise St Georges Day."
Cllr Taylor said the event demonstrated a great level of community spirit and cohesion and added: "We should do more of these things! It was well organised and people enjoyed themselves.
