A young reader is celebrating after receiving her Booktrack gold award from Topsham Library.
Seven year old Alice Hammond, who attends Topsham School, received her award after reading 100 books.
Among Alice’s favourite books are the Little Animal Ark series by Lucy Daniels, and most of the 100 books she read were animal related.
Alice is the latest in a whole family of booklovers, as her brother Ben achieved his gold award two years ago and their mother Lorraine works at the library.
The Booktrack scheme is run by Devon Library Services as a leisure time reading activity for children aged six and over.
