THURSDAY, JULY 21 - INTERNATIONAL charity WaterAid is inviting the people of Exmouth to take part in a sponsored walk along the town s most spectacular rivers and canals.

INTERNATIONAL charity WaterAid is inviting the people of Exmouth to take part in a sponsored walk along the town's most spectacular rivers and canals.

The walk is part of a national event on Sunday, September 14, which sees people teaming up, setting their own walking challenge and raising money for water and sanitation for the world's poorest people.

The day will also be a great opportunity for families and groups to make a day of discovering their local countryside and view the scenic waterways such as the World Heritage Site, the River Otter.

WaterAid is an independent organisation which helps the world's poorest people to gain access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene education.

Sponsorship of just £30 is enough to provide a lasting supply of clean water, sanitation and hygiene education for two people.
