“Rag doll” cash

I would like to thank, through your columns, the generous people of Exmouth for their donations to Myasthenia Gravis Association on Thursday, September 1, at Tesco’s Salterton Road store.

We raised 206.79 - and also raised awareness of this difficult illness. Known as the “rag doll” illness, MG affects the nerve-muscle connections of the body, resulting in weakness and even heart failure.

The money raised will all go towards research into treatment and help for those affected by MG.

Treasurer, MGA Exeter and East Devon Branch.
