Exmouth’s community radio station is toasting the launch of its FM broadcasts after an ale was brewed in its honour.

Bay FM Ale has been created for the station by Topsham Brewery, after it was approached by station manager Andy Green following an idea from presenter Ashley Holman.

Mr Green said: “It’s being sold in pubs locally and a further eight are lined up to sell it. I can’t believe how well it’s going, it’s a really good way to promote the brewery and the station, and it tastes great too. We don’t make anything out of it, but it’s brilliant publicity. It made my day the first time I heard someone ordering two pints of Bay FM.”
