The letter from Roger A Hill, published in last week's Journal, implies I had not replied to a letter he sent to me. It appears the letter he sent to me was written on the same day as his letter to your newspaper, so it is therefore unsurprising he had not had a reply to a letter that I had not yet received! The facts are that I replied immediately to Mr Hill's letter on the day I received it and hand-delivered it to 1 The Esplanade, Exmouth, which was the address given on Mr Hill's letter, the following day. It was therefore with surprise that, three days later, I read his allegation in the Journal, this time giving his address as 62 Bradham Lane, Exmouth. It has since been established the address he gave me is a holiday let. Had he visited that address, he would have found my letter waiting for him.I would like to assure my constituents that I take all issues brought to me extremely seriously and I will continue to ensure all their concerns and enquiries are attended to appropriately and quickly. Mr Hill is not a constituent of mine but I did, nevertheless, forward his letter to the appropriate council official to be dealt with.Councillor Eileen Wragg, Exmouth Town Ward.
