After many years of illness, my nails and skin suffered and I was always self-conscious but, after visiting their salon, I am pleased to say my nails look fabulous and my skin has improved.
Having reached a birthday year which involves a '0', I have told my family that I am concentrating on myself from now on and 'the bank of mum and dad' has closed to their needs.
It has taken me 11 years to heed the advice of an eminent doctor after being diagnosed with breast cancer - to look after my needs first and then think of others. I am now taking full advantage of that advice, albeit a few years later.
