As we now all know the Longboat (restaurant plan at Budleigh Salterton) is going ahead, subject to a few amendments. This, of course, will mean the shelter and viewing platform will be thing of the past as well.

What is happening today - yes, they are painting the shelter so that it looks in pristine condition in preparation for the bulldozers.
It reminds me of the old days when someone who was going to the gallows was allowed to have a wash and comb their hair.
Can someone in authority please contact East Devon District Council and tell them to stop wasting taxpayers' money.
