Post Office staff set to strike today

Union leaders say staff at Exmouth’s crown Post Office in the Magnolia Centre will go on strike this afternoon at 2.30pm.
The Communication Workers Union is calling the strike, due primarily to a dispute over pay, terms and conditions, and the franchising of crown offices into other stores.
The union previously held a strike on Easter Saturday, and says the latest action has been called after talks earlier this week broke down.
The strike is expected to affect around 370 crown Post Offices – the largest branches – across the country.
Post Office managers have condemned the strike, saying it will cause needless disruption to customers.
They say the crown network is currently losing £40 million a year of public money, and therefore the Post Office has no choice but to make changes.
