A Michelin-trained chef is coming to Budleigh to present a celebration of local produce.
Josh McDonald-Johnson’s pop-up restaurant, the Grub Club, will be at Budleigh Salterton Public Hall on February 21 at 7.30pm.
Josh, who comes to Budleigh as part of a series of events on the Jurassic Coast, said: “For every event we do, we source 80 per cent of the produce from within 10 miles.
“In Budleigh, there will be a lot of fish and produce from small farms.
“We’re trying to champion local produce, and support that as much as possible, supporting small farms and small fishermen.”
Josh, 25, trained at some of the country’s top Michelin-starred kitchens, before founding his own Pickle Shack business, having noticed the trend for pop-up restaurants in London.
There are around 100 places available at the Budleigh event, and booking in advance is essential, with 70 tickets already sold. For more information and to book, visit www.pickleshack.co.uk/events.
