Police warning about man in Exmouth garden

Residents in and around Bicton Street are being warned to be vigilant after a man was observed looking at surf boards in someone’s garden.

Police received a call at around 2.30pm on Wednesday, July 22, from a concerned resident in Bicton Street who observed the man in their garden.

The resident became suspicious when the man started looking at a stack of surf boards.

He was described as having tanned/olive skin, was six foot tall, in his twenties of slim build with short black spiky hair, wore a blue t-shirt and had a spider web tattoo on his neck.

The man left the scene in a black Peugeot 207 which had the registration plate GJ61 FYL.

Police are asking anyone who has seen anyone matching the description acting suspiciously or has seen the car to ring 101 quoting Log 879 22/07/2015.
