A SPATE of burglaries carried out in the Colaton Raleigh area has prompted police to warn residents to be extra vigilant.
A SPATE of burglaries carried out in the Colaton Raleigh area has prompted police to warn residents to be extra vigilant.
The police said farms and outbuildings in the rural areas surrounding the village have been targeted.
Equipment ranging from vehicles to welding equipment has been stolen and there has also been an increase in diesel thefts.
Police community support officer Sarah Trayhurn recommended property kept in outbuildings was properly secured.
