Police to tackle Colaton Raleigh traffic speed

COLATON Raleigh police community support officer Malcolm Maguire plans to step up patrols in a bid to crackdown on traffic speeding along the B3178.

COLATON Raleigh police community support officer Malcolm Maguire plans to step up patrols in a bid to crackdown on traffic speeding along the B3178.

He will also monitor tractor speed throughout the village.

PCSO Maguire said: "We will increase the speed detection operations throughout 2010 and continue consultation with Highways regarding a more long-term strategy.
