LOCAL police community support officers are inviting youngsters and parents to get their bikes marked to prevent thefts.
Parents and children can get their bikes engraved with their postcode as part of a local initiative to deter bike thieves.
Police officers will be on-hand on Monday, February 9, at St Peter's Primary School, in Budleigh Salterton, from 3.30pm to 5pm and in Otterton Primary School on Thursday, February 12, at the same time.
They will also be handing out leaflets with their bike information to keep at home and crime prevention stickers to put on their bikes.
