A TRAINING event for new police community support officers took place in Topsham today.
More than ten new recruits took part in exercises as preparation for their new jobs. People from Topsham participated in the role play sessions.
Percy Giles, police community support officer for the town, said a selection of different scenarios took place for the recruits on Fore Street and at the back of Matthew Hall.
Mr Giles said: "The training exercise was a good opportunity for people in Topsham to see first-hand police training.
