Police investigating Exmouth and Budleigh ‘vehicle related’ thefts

Police are investigating a spate of thefts from vehicles between Friday, June 16 and Monday, June 19.

Officers say catalytic converters were removed from vehicles in Budleigh Salterton and Fraser Road, Exmouth, some time between Sunday (June 18) night and the next morning.

Police are also investigating the theft of power tools stolen from The Marles sometime between Friday and Monday. Officers are also looking into the theft of a tablet device on Monday.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesman said: “Residents are asked to be aware of these incidents and remove all portable items from vehicles before leaving them unattended.”

Anyone who has seen anything suspicious is asked to email 101@dc.police.uk ring 101, or 999 if the offenders are still in the area at the time of the call.
