Police hunting for potential arsonist

A POTENTIALLY life threatening arson attack in Littleham last Friday night has prompted a police appeal for witnesses.

A POTENTIALLY 'life threatening' arson attack in Littleham last Friday night has prompted a police appeal for witnesses.

Police say that on Friday October 24 between 9.20pm and 9.26pm a lit rag soaked in a flammable accelerant was thrown over the fence of a property in Nelson Drive which backs onto Hudson Way.

PC Sallyanne Southern said: "This is a very serious offence and could potentially have been life threatening had the grass or fence been dry."
