WITH reference to your article last week entitled: "Police reject teen harassment jibe". I feel the police have been more than fair with the youngsters concerned. I was born and still live in Lympstone with my young family and I never experienced vandalism when I was growing up in this lovely village. I agree they have issues with boredom. Why don't they go to the youth club? And why is there a lack of goalposts? Because they were vandalised! I will not allow my children to wander the streets because I worry they will get led astray by those bored youngsters. I think the Lympstone PCSO Sarah Trayhurn should be praised for what she has done to sort out these problems. Maybe one night we might get a decent night's sleep, knowing these kids are tucked up in bed at a reasonable time, not roaming the streets shouting and screaming. Well done, Sarah.Name and address withheld.
