POLICE issued one speeding ticket to a Budleigh Salterton motorist and gave two verbal warnings to drivers during two speed check sessions carried out last week along the main route into the town.

Some 39 vehicles were checked travelling along the Exmouth to West Hill road into Budleigh Salterton.
