Police appeal: girl attacked in Exmouth park

Police are investigating an attack on a 13-year-old girl in a park in Brixington Lane

Police at Exmouth are appealing for information after a girl was attacked in a park in Brixington.

Officers said the 13-year-old was physically assaulted by a man on Friday evening while she was in the Brixington Lane park.

The man grabbed the girl by the arm before the attack, police said.

Exmouth police have described the man as 6ft tall and wearing a dark-coloured coat, possibly Helly Hansen.

Officers believe the attack took place sometime between 8.45pm and 9pm on Friday November 22.

A Devon and Cornwall police spokesperson said: “Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen a male fitting this description in the areas of Brixington Lane or The Marles, Exmouth.”
