POLICE in Exeter have released a photograph of a man they wish to question following an incident at Clyst St Mary at around midday on Friday August 15 2008.

A local man in his thirties driving a green VW Golf was struck from behind at Sandygate roundabout by a silver VW Polo.

The two vehicles met bumper to bumper but it not believed that any damage was caused at that time.

The victim was then followed down the A376 to Clyst St Mary, where his vehicle was struck again by the silver car causing it to spin out of control before driving off.

The driver of one of the cars is described as being in his late 20s to early 30s, with blond hair which was gelled and spiky.

He had tribal band tattoos on his arms.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or can put a name to the photograph is asked to call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 quoting crime reference KE/08/2483
