Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was left blind in one eye following an attack in Exmouth.
Officers said a young male was set upon by a group of youths while out walking his dog on the Capel Lane cycle path between Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton, earlier in the year on March 20.
Officers said the attack occurred sometime between 5.30pm and 6.30pm.
Police Constable Kylie Perryman is keen to hear from anyone who may have information about the incident.
She would like to hear from other dog walkers who may have witnessed the attack.
PC Perryman also invited members of the group not involved in the attack to get in touch.
