Police are appealing for information after a vintage watch was stolen in a burglary in Exmouth.

The incident was at a property in Hamilton Lane, between 9.30am on April 2, and 3pm on April 3.

DC Damien Randall said: “Entry was through an insecure door and an Omega watch was stolen.

“This was an unusual watch as it was dated from the late-1940s and was a wind-up mechanical watch with a second hand wheel situated in the six o’clock position.

“It is on a steel strap and is similar to the picture. It is of great sentimental value.”

If anyone has knowledge of this watch or has recently been offered this item for sale, they are asked to call DC Randall on 101, and quote CR/022856/15.
