Police appeal after thefts in High Street

Police are appealing for information after a burglary at a Budleigh Salterton pub.

Police say items were taken from the King Billy in High Street on April 15, between 12.30am and 9.50am.

Entry was gained through a window, and items were taken, including a Nintendo Wii games console, games and controller worth £100.

Also taken were some VHS videos, nine bottles of spirits and a very small amount of cash.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting log number 199 of April 15.

Police are also continuing to appeal for information after a previous theft which took place at Jottys in High Street.

Various items of women’s Celtic clothing were taken between 5pm on February 1 and 9.30am on February 2.

Anyone with information on this incident should call police on 101, quoting crime reference number CR/007928/15.
