Police are appealing for information after an alleged incident where an 18-year-old woman had remarks shouted at her by men in a car.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said the incident happened in Withycombe Road at 8.45am on Wednesday, May 3, when the victim was approached by three men in a car who shouted remarks at her.

The woman then took a pedestrian-only path by Phear Park to get herself away from the car.

The spokesperson said the woman was left ‘shaken’ by the incident.

The spokesperson said the men were described as young, of multi-racial appearance, and travelling in a dark blue or black car.

Police are appealing for witnesses, and anyone who has information is asked to contact police by emailing 101@dc.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting log number 0260 of 03/05/17.
