Police appeal after Exmouth collision

Police are appealing for information following an alleged hit and run collision between two vehicles in Exmouth.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said the incident occurred on Friday, August 25, at the junction of Salterton Road and Avondale Road.

The male driver of a Nissan Micra reported to police that he was at the junction when a vehicle was in collision with the driver’s door.

Damage was caused to the door panel, bumper paintwork and wheel trim.

The elderly male driver of the other vehicle, which is described as light blue/silver in colour, is said to have then left the scene without exchanging details.
