Police are appealing for information after cash and clothes were taken from an Exmouth home.

Devon and Cornwall Police said the offender or offenders entered a building in Church Road on Tuesday, August 15, sometime between 11.30am and 3pm when the victims were out of the house.

After an untidy search of the premises, the offenders are said to have made off with around £600 in cash and several items including a pair of size 11 black lace up Firetrap shoes and a pair of AKG bud type ear phones in black.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in the area of Church Road around the time of the offence.

If anyone does have information that may assist enquiries they are asked to contact police by emailing 101@dc.police.uk or by telephone on 101, quoting CR/068841/17.

Alternatively information can be passed on anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
