Police appeal after alleged assault on bus in Exmouth

Police are appealing for witnesses to an alleged assault on a female passenger on a bus in Exmouth.

Police say the passenger boarded the 57 bus on Tuesday, June 14, between 10.50pm and 11pm, in Rolle Street.

The bus travelled into Bradham Lane, when the passenger is alleged to have been hit on the rear of her neck by a male passenger, causing minor injury.

Police say the man then alighted from the bus stop at the top of Bradham Lane.

He is described as white, aged 35 to 40, with short dark hair and wearing dark clothing, with a black and white dog on a lead.
