THE police and fire services are joining services on Easter Saturday to help improve their service to the community.
The police will focus on the 'top three' policing concerns while the Fire service will offer the free smoke detectors.
PC David Lea said "It's great to work alongside the local Fire and Rescue Service. It is typical of what we are trying to achieve with PACT by having local networking of likeminded people working together to make the whole community of Budleigh even better."
Steve Hunt Crew Manager at Budleigh Salterton Fire Station said "We aim to have working smoke detectors in every home."
Both services will set up shop in their respective vehicles between 10am and 12noon and there will also be an Easter Egg Draw, donated by Spar, and And Cards Too.
