I, like many others, stood in the horrendous weather for the Service of Remembrance at the war memorial in Exmouth. In a few minutes, I was soaked to the skin. Then a young girl turned to me and said: "They had to fight in worse weather than this." How right she was.I was also pleased to see Hugo Swire MP (pictured). I did not vote for him, but it was nice to see an MP at last who knows where Exmouth is and joins us from time to time. He also read very well.I went home, cold and wet, but glad I went there.L A Collins,10 Pound Street,Exmouth.
